I hate AI.
That's the sentiment behind our latest tee in the Harper Finch shop. 👎

One of our recent tee launches.
We have to admit, the Harper Finch team had some debate about launching this one.
We don't hate EVERYTHING about AI.
And hate IS a strong word 😡
But we DO hate Adobe's recent ad suggesting that creatives "skip the photoshoot".

Clayton Cubitt's recent post pretty much encapsulates our feelings on the Adobe Marketing suggesting you "skip the photoshoot".
And we also hate that some AI image generators are scraping the web and training on photographers' images without their permission.
On the other hand, we have seen a lot of amazing, unique work being created with AI.

Renowned photographer Charlie Engman has been experimenting with AI, creating some fascinating images.
And we're not going to lie, we're excited about the ability of AI to enhance what we do as creatives. Whether it's to visualize a concept for a client treatment, to speed up our workflow, or to implement post production in ways we never could have before.
No matter what your opinion, we think the ethics and use of AI IS something to be talking about.
And we think this tee has the power to kick off lots of conversations.
So in the end, we made the decision that this tee was going to make the cut for our shop, and we're excited to see the conversations that might stem out of it.
What do you think? Would you ever wear a tee like this to kick off a convo?

Honestly, I’m kinda torn on this one. AI can be super helpful, but I totally get the frustration with the whole ‘skip the photoshoot’ thing. That’s like skipping the heart of what makes photography special.
